Our organic Colombian Sierra Nevada has a silky smooth body with notes of warm cocoa, slight honey, orange and peach. The cupping notes include very well balanced acidity and a true medium body.
Hailing from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta region, with a max altitude of 18,700 feet, this is one of the worlds highest coastal mountain ranges. Only about 25 miles from the coast, the climate and humidity make this region one of the most ideal in the world. Coffees from this region are more unique than typical Colombian coffees, in that the soil and forest canopy provide very specific growing conditions not found in many other locales. Our Sierra Nevada coffee is grown by only 78 family farmers, keeping true to our promise of supporting our Fair Trade partners around the globe.
